Hand-Knotted Pakistani Baluch Wool Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Pakistani Baluch wool rug. This accent rug is rendered in a palette of blue, black, red, and burgundy. The field features a pole of three hooked diamond medallions ending in anchors, while framed in a concentric hooked pattern. Framing the field as a whole is a main kochak cross border over a black ground, as well as a pair of running dog guard borders. Finishing this rug are double overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is labeled ‘Hand Made in Pakistan’.
