A hand-knotted Persian Hamadan wool palace sized runner. This rug has a deep red field with an allover herati design rendered in hues of blue, orange, ivory, wine, and beige. Framing the field is a main leaf and blossom border, along with a pair of boteh guard borders in complementary colors. Finishing this rug are overcast barber bole selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
