A Chippendale style captain’s chair. The chair has a curvilinear crest rail over a tapering and pierced splat and scrolled side arms. The chair has a straight apron decorated with pierced fretwork to the front and rises on carved cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet to the front and saber shaped legs to the back. Unmarked.
