Chippendale Style Side Chairs

Item Details

A pair of Chippendale style side chairs. Each chair has a foliate carved curvilinear crest rail and pronounced ears over a pierced and tapering splat. The chairs have serpentine cut aprons and rise on saber shaped legs to the back and cabriole legs to the front with acanthus carved knees terminating with ball and claw feet. They are finished with a burgundy upholstery to the seats and are unmarked.
