A mid century modern Arne Vodder for Sibast Danish dining set in rosewood. The set is composed of an oval dining table with an extra leaf, and six chairs. The table is designed with a three board top with expandable rail system to the underside, allowing the extra leaf to be inserted, a flush curvilinear apron and round tapered legs. The chairs have curved top rails with tapered end detailing and integrated round tapered legs. The chair seats have been reupholstered in the 1960s-1970s in a woven geometric fabric in shades of eggplant, tangerine and olive green. (The original upholstery was in a natural linen). The end halves of the table top have been refinished with the the center and extra in the original finish. The chairs are in the original finish. The set is unmarked. * For ease of moving, the table top can be detached from the legs.The dining set is located in a lower level with one flight of stairs to the upper level. A professional mover is recommended.
