A collection of various antique photographs featuring portraits, European architecture and landscapes. Included are eleven albumen photographs matted on heavy stock paper of scenes in Ireland, England, and Holland. These photos feature various houses, ruins, churches, and canal scenes. Many of these works are inscribed by hand to the lower margin, identifying the subject. Also included is a panoramic silver-gelatin photograph of a rural landscape in New York. This photo is not mounted and is inscribed in graphite to the verso. The last few items are three silver-gelatin portraits. One featuring three young sisters is not mounted and the names of the girls are handwritten to the verso. Two matching photos of a captain are mounted on black cardstock. All photos remain unframed.

Condition

- a few photos are torn on the edges; some photos have wrinkles; mats have foxing and toning throughout; wear throughout edges of mats and photos; photo of sisters is detached from cardboard backing.
