Pair of Vintage Biedermeier Style Elm Bedside Chests

Item Details

A pair of vintage Biedermeier style elm bedside chests. Each veneered and paneled case features a rectangular top with burled crossbanding and outset corners above a single, machine-dovetailed frieze drawer outset over two paneled doors. The drawer and door fronts are fitted with brass handles and the doors are flanked by a pair ebonized and parcel-gilt pilasters. Each chest rises on tapered, block feet.
