J.H.W. Climax Padlock, Finnish J. Marttiini Fillet Knife and More

An assortment of tools and other collectibles, including a late 19th century hand made tin oil can made with nine pieces of tin soldered into an oval form with tapering spout, side handle and screw cap to the top. There is a J. Marttini fillet knife with a hand ground stainless steel filleting blade, marked “J. Marttiini Finland, Hand Ground Stainless,” and a wooden handle. It is presented in a J. Marttiini tan leather sheath. The collection also includes an antique J.H.W. Climax brass railroad padlock with ‘NPL’ to the back of the arm, possibly for the ‘Nickel Plate Limited’ which ran between New York, Chicago & St. Louis; a Stanley No. 62 folding wooden 24 inch ruler, a Universal 50 foot steel measuring tape and a rolling map distance gauge made in Germany.
