American Federal Chest of Drawers, Early 19th Century

Item Details

An American Federal chest of drawers. This chest features a shaped back splash with rolled ends accented with brass rosettes. The chest features a slightly bowed front above four stacked drawers with flame mahogany veneers and original brass plates and handles. The drawers are flanked by reeded front stiles and rise on turned legs. There are no visible maker’s marks. Likely North Shore, Massachusetts, circa 1820s.
