Item Details

A French Gothic Revival brass- and iron-mounted walnut hall stand, late 19th/early 20th century. The two-part frame features a removable, molded and carved hood with pierced tracery bordered on the top by spires and on the bottom by arched, trefoil pendants. The lower section has three arched panels, the central example being mirrored, while those on the outside are fitted with twisted- and wrought-iron hooks and bars. The outer panels are further embellished with linen-fold panels at the bottom over umbrella or cane compartments.
