A vintage sterling silver flatware set in the Homewood pattern by The Stieff Company; designed by Frederick Hoyle and produced between 1938 and 1979. The set includes eight dinner forks, eight salad forks, eight teaspoons, eight soup spoons, eight butter spreaders, eight cocktail forks, one serving spoon, one ice cream knife, and eight dinner knives with stainless steel blades. The utensils feature tapering fluted handles with lobed terminals, each monogrammed to their undersides and additionally marked ‘Sterling – Stieff – Pat.’ These pieces are presented in a wooden silverware chest with brown tarnish resisting fabric lining by Naken’s. The sterling flatware set, excluding the hollow handled knives, has a total approximate weight of 60.760 ozt.
