1990s Billiken Ōgon Bat Wind-up Toy
Item Details
A 1990s tin wind-up toy with vinyl head and fabric cloak depicting Ōgon Bat. This mechanical toy is presented in its original packaging and depicts one of the first superheroes, Ōgon Bat. The character first appeared in a kamishibai picture show and was designed in 1931 by Takeo Nagamatsu and Suzuki Ichiro. A live action film and anime titled Ōgon Bat released in the mid 1960s.
