Antique English Hand-Painted Devon Pitcher
Item Details
A hand-Painted English Devon pitcher, dated to approximately 1891 to 1906. The pitcher has a thrown, elongated form having a redware body. It is glazed in a bright, deep green high gloss glaze to the exterior, with hand-applied, slip-trailed scrolled leaves and banding. It has a pulled handle and is marked ‘England’ with an illegible impressed mark to the underside.
