A collection of eleven pieces of antique silver plate flatware with sterling silver bolsters and cream colored celluloid handles by William Yates of Sheffield, England. The collection includes six dinner forks and five dinner knives. Each piece is hallmarked to its sterling bolster and additionally marked with Sheffield crown city mark, a passant sterling fineness mark, and a letter ‘a’ 1918 date letter mark.
