A handwoven Turkish Konya wool yastik. This piece features three weft facing kilims with ivory grounds sewn together at the selvedges. It features bands of interlocking and hooked motifs, along with serrated stripes and diamond forms. The patterns are rendered in hues of burgundy, red, black, golden yellow, gray, and green. The textile finishes with hand overcast selvedges and bound ends. It is presented between plexiglass panels with a wooden box for hanging display to the verso. It is unlabeled.
