A Japanese elm hibachi brazier, late 19th/early 20th century. This rectangular top piece features a left-facing removable copper liner next to a right-facing storage compartment with lid. The dovetail constructed case features two right-facing corner drawers with recessed panels. The brazier features recessed handles to two sides and terminates on a plinth base. There are no visible maker’s marks.

- top molding detached and one corner of molding loose; top drawer handle detached; oxidation to copper; staining to drawer interiors; scratches and scuffs throughout; chips to edges.
