Hand-Knotted Indo-Persian Wool Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, pale orange, scarlet, mauve, and greens. The ivory field is populated with four hooked medallions infilled with floral motifs, and accompanied by rosettes, and crenelated lines with rectilinear forms. Framing the field are a series of floral themed borders with chained elements, along with an outer running dog guard border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton kilim skirt with cropped ends. It is unlabeled.
