Vintage Villeroy & Boch and Wedgwood Decorative Plates, Cups and Saucers

A grouping of six black and white vintage ceramic pieces from Villeroy & Boch and Wedgwood. There are three decorative plates, two cups and saucers, and a tile. The Wedgwood items are made after Caroline Williams (1945-1988). Each plate features a floral motif with black transfer ware images of drawings by Cincinnati artist Caroline Williams and were produced by Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston, made in England. They were offered exclusively by Newstedt Loring Andrews in Cincinnati. Each is marked to the underside with the plate title, description of the landmark, maker’s marks and the statement that the plates are Limited Editions. The Villeroy & Boch items are marked to the bottom.
