An original watercolor on paper attributed to Paul B. Travis (Ohio, 1891-1975). This painting features a nude portrait in a vibrant palette. Presented in a gold tone frame behind acrylic with hanging wire to verso. Paul B. Travis was an artist, teacher, lecturer and more from Wellsville ohio and celebrated a highly publicized African expedition which led to a seven month financed collecting and painting trip. His collections on the trip were received by the Cleveland Museum of Art and Karamu House.
