A hand-knotted Indo-Persian wool palace sized runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, cobalt, ivory, taupe, sky blue, rose, mauve, and wheat. The cranberry colored field an allover scrolling floral, palmette, and leaf design, while framed in a cobalt grounded main stylized herati border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
