Item Details

A vintage hand-knotted Persian Viss Heriz long rug. The rug features a dove grey field with three coordinating stylized organic motifs to the center in a color palette of slate, scarlet, iand ivory on a pale peach field. The rug has corner spandrels showing a similar organic patterning in the same color palette. The principle border is unresolved and it is flanked by guard borders with pinwheel motifs. The rug is finished with overcast selvage to both sides and a natural warp fringe to both ends.
