A hand-knotted and embroidered Baluch Mashwani wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of wine, indigo, wheat, and walnut. The textured field features a lattice of branched diamond medallions throughout, while framed in a series of geometrically designed borders, as well as elem panels in both cut pile and embroidered finishes. Finishing this rug are double overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
