Item Details

A vintage hand-knotted Persian Heriz room-sized rug. This rug features a rust-orange field with central paneled floral medallion in slate blue, cream, dark brick, and white. The center field is surrounded by four large compound spandrels containing similar motifs in coordinating colors. The center field is bound by a broad border with tree, leaf and floral motifs with two floral guard borders. The rug is finished with a natural warp fringe at both ends and a single-wrapped selvedge along the sides.
