A 19th Century French Le Roy Br. de Madame ormolu mantel clock. The clock has a round white face with Roman numerals and black spear hands. It is housed in a gilded bronze case with applied articulated roses and rests on a footed oval stand with a classical female statuette depicted pouring roses from a bowl over the clock. The back of the clock has a domed glass door which opens to reveal battery operated replacement clock works. It is marked ‘No. 1016’ to the verso.
