A vintage hand-knotted Persian Karaja Heriz long rug with a colorful palette of navy, deep crimson, cobalt, teal, ivory, orange and rust. The rug features a large geometric pendant medallion with botehs and floral motifs on a deep crimson field. A pair of stylized birds perch atop one end of the central design. Eight-pointed stars and lobed flowers also ornament the field. The rug is framed with a series of borders with geometric designs and finished with overcast selvedges and short, natural warp fringe.
