An etching with drypoint and burin on laid paper by famed Dutch artist Rembrandt van Rijn (1606-1669), circa 1665. Fully titled Jan Antonides van der Linden, Prof. of Medicine, this work is a final state etching. Without a watermark, thread margins are present around the lower blank border area of the paper. The work is mounted on an off-white surface, presented under glass with off-white matting, and housed in a gold-tone gesso and wood frame. A descriptive label is adhered to the verso.
