A gouache and graphite painting on paper by well-listed artist Leon Kroll (New York/Mexico/Europe; 1884 – 1974). The painting depicts a reclining nude female figure. Her face and chest are rendered in fine detail that becomes less-pronounced as the composition moves to her legs, which are illustrated in simple graphite outlines. The painting is signed to the lower right. It is presented behind mat and glass in a thin frame with a hanging wire.
