An original early-mid 20th century ink and watercolor painting on thin paperboard, painted in the style of very well-listed French Modernist Georges Valmier (1885 – 1937). The painting depicts an abstract composition made up of geometric shapes painted in mint green, pale blue, and various shades of gray with black outlines. A large yellow sun is painted to the upper right. The painting is signed ‘G. Valmier’ to the lower left. It is presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation.

- paper is slightly yellowed with age. Light residue to verso.
