Late Georgian Period Mahogany Bow Front Chest

Item Details

A fine late Georgian period mahogany bow front chest. The chest features mahogany and flame mahogany veneers with white pine secondary. The frame features a mahogany cross banding inlay with a scalloped apron raised on high French bracket feet. Each drawer features an inlaid escutcheon.

- missing piece of veneer to the top; finish to the top scratches; missing beading to the left side
