Item Details
A Federal string-inlaid mahogany cellarette, early 19th century. The case features a rectangular, hinged lid opening to a divided interior with a shallow, storage well backed by a twelve-bottle compartment. The façade has a false drawer front over two flame-veneered and crossbanded doors with gilt-metal escutcheons before a vacant interior. The cellarette rises on four square, tapered legs. Also included is a key.
