A vintage, rare prototype Lesage Paris red canvas shoulder bag showcasing an embroidered pocket watch hanging offset to one side. The pocket watch has sequin, beads, and foil back glass stones. The interior is lined in a black latex and is marked in gold, ‘Lesage Paris’.

Per consignor, this handbag was presented to her by designer and friend, Francois Lesage. The handbag is a prototype from the early 1990s from Lesage’s accessory line inspired by his family’s embroidery archives. His accessory line of handbags and jewelry was produced during the decline audience of Haute Couture clothing due to the Gulf War.
