A hand-knotted Turkish Anatolian area rug. The rug features an abrashed palette of rich, vivid colors. There is a central geometric medallion and pendant shapes in bright pink, teal, navy, magenta, turquoise and purple on a mocha ground against an abrashed field which ranges from purple to crimson. Sawtooth and ribbon guard borders flank the main border. The rug is finished with navy and red overcast selvedges and natural warp fringe.
