Hand-Knotted Persian Mahal Sarouk Carpet Runner

A vintage hand-knotted Persian Mahal Sarouk runner in a palette of crimson, black, rust, blue, salmon and white. The deep crimson field displays three medallions with linking pendants. Small geometric spandrels stand at each corner and the runner has a main geometric floral border flanked by wave form guard borders. Either end of the rug displays cotton warp fringe ends and the selvedges are hand overcast.
