A Victorian Staffordshire clock figure group. Staffordshire mantel figures were made for England’s working classes. It was typical to have either a recessed area to hold a pocket watch or a painted clock face on the mantel figures. There are no discernible maker’s marks as was typical for Staffordshire figures of the period.
