A vintage hand-knotted Mohajeran Sarouk room sized rug in a palette of turquoise, navy, slate, scarlet and cream. The wool rug features a central medallion with turquoise ground and corner spandrels on a cream ground. A wide herati border on a scarlet ground is flanked by guard borders. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and short warp fringe.
