Item Details
A circa 1950 vintage Japanese silk brocade fukuro obi. This black kikko (tortoiseshell) pattern obi is hand decorated in metallic gold, metallic silver, red and pink threads. It features kiku (chrysanthemum), sasanoha (leaves of bamboo grass) and shippō (seven treasures) pattern, and concentric hexagon motifs. The verso is solid black.

- few loose embroidery threads, discolored crease line down back.
