A folio from America, written by John Ogilby (1600-1676), published in the late 17th century. As indicated at the top of the page, this folio is page 596 of Chapter 7 in America. It features a hand-colored engraved illustration of Native Americans and text throughout the lower portion of the page. Presented under glass with off-white matting, it is housed in a gold-tone gesso and wood frame. A descriptive label is adhered to the verso.

Condition

- some rippling throughout paper; minor foxing scattered throughout; faint stains present at top of page; minor wear scattered throughout frame.
