Item Details
A circa 1940s vintage Japanese handwoven silk damask furisode kimono, hand decorated with yuzen resist-dyed design, surihaku metallic gold leaf accents and metallic gold couching. This pale yellow hanamatsukawabishi pattern damask kimono has a green, white, yellow, orange and teal color palette. The design features a fan motif accented with chrysanthemums. The fans are filled mizu, kikko hanabishi, hishi, kiri, kiku, momiji, kumo, ume and matsu patterns. The interior is lined in golden yellow and off-white silk.

- light staining to lining of sleeves, staining to interior lining, small spot stains on one sleeve.
