A Robert Mitchell Colonial Revival chair featuring a dark mahogany finish. This chair has a straight crest rail and stylized pierced urn backsplat. The chair has a woven rush cane seat and rests on square legs. Partial label to underside.
Previously partnered with Mitchell & Rammelsberg, the corporate name changed in the 1880’s after Rammelsberg died, to the Robert Mitchell Furniture Company.
Robert Mitchell produced high quality furniture in Cincinnati until the 1940’s
