A Louis XVI style brass-mounted kingwood and marquetry commode, 20th century. The veneered, breakfront case features a conforming, rouge marble top with outset corners above a brass-mounted, frieze drawer over an ornately-inlaid, fall-front panel. There is a vacant storage compartment to the left of the interior and a stack of four machine-dovetailed and crossbanded drawers to the right. The commode rises on canted and inlaid stiles with figural, brass capitals continuing to cabriole legs with sabots. Also included is a key.
