A vintage hand-knotted Romanian Veramin wool area rug. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of indigo, cranberry, burnt orange, ivory, ochre, carnation, and walnut. The indigo hued field features an allover stylized herati design with over-sized palmettes throughout, while framed in an ivory grounded floral meander border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends, along with visible blue weft threads. It is unlabeled.
