A vintage handwoven Caucasian Daghestan wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of indigo, wheat, ivory, sage, sky blue, and sepia. The indigo hued field features a lattice design of geometrically designed symbols including palmettes, stars, diamonds, and other motifs throughout. Framing the field is a main ivory grounded leaf and calyx border, as well as stepped diamond guard borders, and meandering minor borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
