A semi-antique hand-knotted Caucasian Kazak wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in an abrashed palette of indigo, ivory, crimson, cobalt, sage, wheat, and sepia. The indigo hued field features a stylized turret design infilled, and surrounded by kaikalak, karachov ashik, diamonds, and other geometric symbols. Framing the field is an ivory grounded stepped diamond border, along with a floret and X guard border, and the remains of a diagonal stripe guard border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
