A hand-knotted Turkish Oushak wool area rug from Aria Rugs. The rug is grounded in light beige with an overall floral and foliate pattern in soft shades of blue gray, light olive, apricot and cream. The rug has a complex border composed of a major border grounded in blue gray with floral medallions and flowering branches in shades of cream, blue gray, apricot and gold, the border flanked to each side with cream guard stripes decorated with geometric floral and foliate forms. The rug is banded to the outside in light beige with a short beige warp fringe to each end.
