Charming Vintage Viking Revival Sterling Silver Salts
Item Details
A group of charming vintage Viking revival sterling silver salts. The open salt is in the form of a viking long ship with dragons and the original cobalt blue glass liner. The three additional horn shaped salt shakers are supported by a bracket, again with a dragon motif. Three of the pieces are stamped ‘Sterling Norway’ and the other is ‘Sterling Sweden’. The Norway silver was designed by Theodore Olsen, most likely from the 1930s.
Condition
, polished and all with tight fitting lids.
Dimensions
, measurements given refer to the horns. The boat is 2" high x 3.5" long. All four pieces of sterling weigh approximately 2.19 ozt.
