A hand-knotted Sino-Persian Tabriz wool and silk room-size rug. This rug features a lobed, diamond-shaped medallion with anchor pendants on a Mina Khani herati field in a color palette of turquoise blue, burnt orange, cream, shades of green, dusty pink, red, a variety of blues and brown. The main dark blue border has a samovar design with flowers, lancet leaves and palmettes, framed by minor stripes of meandering flowers. The rug is finished with knotted warp fringe on kilim strips. Manufacturer’s label on the back.
