1886 Embossed Leather Bound Illustrated Bible
Item Details
An 1886 antique Pictorial Family Bible, the King James version, ‘parallel column edition’, with both the ‘Authorized’ (1611) and ‘Revised’ (1881) versions of the text, published by the Historical Publishing Co. of Dayton, Ohio. It is copiously illustrated with engravings including some hand-tinted images. It is bound in a leather hardcover with stamped gilt designs, and has gilt page edges.

Condition
- moderate cover wear, hinge cracks at top and bottom of spine, minor scattered foxing mostly near the front of the volume but overall a clean interior.
