An oil painting on canvas by listed Pennsylvania-based artist Robert R. Young (20th century). This work features a cityscape along the river highly populated with steel mills. The sun breaks through the foggy atmosphere, adding an orange glow contrasting the cool hues throughout the scene. The work is signed ‘Robert R. Young’ to the lower right. It is presented in a gold-tone gesso and wood frame with a black painted liner. A label from the Concept Art Gallery is adhered to the verso.
