A Chinese green serpentine carving of a dragon ship, presented on a carved wood base. The intricately carved sculpture feature a double-dragon with scaled body, surmounted by three tiers of pierced, carved pagoda structures, one columnar mast and pierced carved sails. The main sail is inscribed ‘一帆風順’, meaning ‘Propitious wind throughout the journey’, or ‘Have a nice trip’. The work assembles in pieces and is unmarked.
