A hand-knotted Pakistani wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of seafoam green, custard, rose, slate, black, and white. The seafoam green colored field begins with an elongated hexagonal medallion framed in rectilinear vine-work, while enclosed by stepped rose grounded spandrels. Framing the field are a series of custard grounded borders in an array of geometric patterns and motifs. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
